Who we are
JF Drilling Solutions is a horizontal directional drilling contractor based at Capability Green, Luton. We install pipes, ducts and cables beneath the ground without open trenching, for clients across the UK.
We work for main contractors, utilities, civils firms, consulting engineers and local authorities. Every job gets the same care, whether it is a single service connection or a complex crossing.
Our story
JF Drilling Solutions was founded by Jeremy Fensom and Seelantha Kangaha-Arachchi, bringing over 20 years of directional drilling experience into one focused business.
That experience covers the full range of HDD work. It runs from farm water supplies and small service installations through to pipeline crossings beneath the River Thames and major projects overseas.
We set up JF Directional Drilling to offer contractors something simple: an experienced team that plans carefully, communicates clearly and delivers to the standard agreed.

Jeremy Fensom
Jeremy has worked in directional drilling for over 20 years, on everything from small service installations to major infrastructure. His experience includes pipeline crossings beneath the River Thames and major projects overseas. That breadth shapes how JF plans and delivers every job, whatever its size.

Seelantha Kangaha-Arachchi
Seelantha co-founded JF Drilling Solutions alongside Jeremy and oversees the day to day running of the business. Seelantha's focus is making sure every project is planned properly, communicated clearly and delivered to the standard clients expect.
Still on the tools.
Running the business hasn’t taken Jeremy off the rig. You’ll still find him on site, at the controls, working alongside the crew on every kind of job.
He does it because he loves the work, but also because he wants people coming into the industry to see what’s possible. Jeremy learned this trade on the ground, and it’s given him a career he’s proud of. He wants the next generation to know that the same path is open to them.
