How we use your information and why
We use your information to respond to your enquiries and prepare quotations. We do this because you have asked us to take steps before entering a contract, and because we have a legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
Where we agree to carry out work for you, we use your information to deliver that project. We do this to perform our contract with you.
If you register as a driller, we use your information to match you with suitable opportunities and to supply personnel to our clients. We do this because we have a legitimate interest in running our drilling personnel service, and to take steps towards a contract where work is offered.
We check right to work and qualifications because the law requires it, and because we have a legitimate interest in supplying suitable personnel.
If you apply for a job with us, we use your information to consider your application, as a step towards a contract of employment.
We use analytics to improve our website, but only with your consent, which you give through our cookie banner.
We also keep business records where the law requires it and where we have a legitimate interest in doing so.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for automated decision making.

We only share your information where we need to, and with organisations that must keep it secure:
-
Our website platform provider, Wix, which hosts this site and processes form submissions on our behalf.
-
Our email and IT service providers.
-
Clients we supply drilling personnel to, where you have registered as a driller and an opportunity matches your profile. We will tell you before sharing your details with a specific client.
-
Professional advisers such as accountants, insurers and solicitors, where needed.
-
Authorities, where the law requires us to.
Transfers outside the UK
Some of our service providers may store or process information outside the UK. Where this happens, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as UK adequacy regulations or approved contract terms.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and quotations that do not lead to work for 2 years from our last contact with you.
We keep project and contract records for 6 years after the project ends.
We keep driller registrations for 2 years from when you registered or last updated your details. After that, we will ask whether you want to stay on our register.

We keep unsuccessful job applications for 6 months after the role is filled.
After these periods, we securely delete or anonymise your information.
Keeping it secure
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including secure hosting, encrypted connections and restricted access to the people who need it.

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
-
ask for a copy of the information we hold about you

ask us to delete your information
-
ask us to restrict how we use it
-
object to us using it, including where we rely on legitimate interests

withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on it
Drillers can ask us to update or remove their registration at any time. To use any of these rights, contact us. We will respond within one month.
